Housing
Yes, every cabin is air-conditioned.
No, coaches do not stay in the same cabin as the campers, however they are strategically placed on the two ends of our camper cabins and they are all assigned a cabin for bed checks every night.
It depends on the size of the camp, but generally there will be between 4-8 campers in the cabin.
No, campers will utilize our bathhouses to shower and use the restroom. We have three bathhouses at camp, two of which are conveniently located between the cabins.
Absolutely! Simply call into our office (phone number) or send an email to hgskills@hoopgroup.com (new email for PIBC?) and our staff will add the roommate request into our system to ensure we have the group staying in a cabin together.
Packing
Provided is a packing list. If your son/daughter is staying for more than a single camp, we recommend packing at least one of each clothing item per day of their stay. As an aside, we recommend avoiding packing valuables such as cash, credit cards, jewelry, or any other valued items.
No, we have plenty of basketballs here, there is no need for them to bring their own ball.
Food and Canteen
You will set up a canteen account during the registration process. We accept both cash and card as a form of payment.
We recommend not bringing additional money as we are not liable should the money get misplaced. Parents can always call into our office to add additional funds to the canteen account if need be.
Yes, all three meals are provided in our dining hall. We have a professional chef on staff who prepares every meal. Additionally, be sure to reach out to our staff with any dietary/allergy needs.
Basketball
Provided is a mock schedule (hyperlink), every day is structured similarly, so the mock schedule is an accurate representation of what the campers will be doing.
We bring in coaches from all levels of basketball to coach at camp. We have high-school coaches, AAU coaches, collegiate coaches, former professional players, and current professional players.
